Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon
Luigi’s Mansion 2 Dark Moon for Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL is the direct follow up to Luigi’s Mansion on the Gamecube, which is fondly remembered by many as a truly unique twist on the Mario universe. It makes me feel old to think that the original game was released over 10 years ago, especially as many still remember the game fondly, so Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon is highly anticipated among long term Nintendo fans.

GTA 5 Release Date Confirmed
Rockstar have confirmed a GTA 5 release date for 17th September 2013. This is both great and terrible news, great news as we finally have a date for the most highly anticipated game of the year (so far) but terrible news as it’s still more than 6 months away and the excitement is already getting to me.

Rockstar’s GTA 5 is coming. GTA 5 is highly anticipated and almost dead cert to be a hit, there has speculation since before most of us even finished GTA 4 as to what GTA 5 (or GTA V to give the game it’s correct title) will contain, and details are starting to make their way through already. GTA 5 release date has been set as 17th September 2013, which is a long way off for those hoping for a Spring release, but you can guarantee it will be worth every minute of the wait. Well it’s been an intense few months for us at Gamers For Life, momentum is growing and the future is looking very exciting indeed. We’ve got big plans for next year and we’re really excited to see where this can take us and what we can achieve!
All of this is made possible by people wanting to support us in supporting Cancer Research UK and other great causes, so all that remains is for us to say a great big heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
One last thing, if I may. This year I have heard of so many tragic stories where family members and friends are taken before their time, this is why we do what we do. Christmas is supposed to be a happy and joyful time, so if you are lucky enough to have everyone around you in good health then please, take the time to enjoy every minute of it. I’m not saying anyone should expect the worst for anyone next year, but you never know when things can change. Don’t take each other for granted, love and be loved, eat well, drink well and be merry, and most importantly enjoy every minute of Christmas 2012.

Cancer Research UK released news this week can only be described as staggering. According to new figures, a man’s lifetime risk of developing cancer is set to reach one in two by 2027. One of the reasons has been put down to an ever aging population; by 2027, which is still 15 years away, we can expect to be living longer than we are now. Life expectancy is extending constantly as our quality of life improves.
